The Genoa Boat Show 2016 - The largest of the Mediterranean Salon

The Boat Show is a point of reference for the entire yachting sector in Europe and the Mediterranean. It’s an event with unique characteristics that makes it possible to put on show in a single exhibition the latest new products from boatyards, engines, electronics, accessories, tourism and all services. Inaugurated in 1962 in Genoa and now in its 56th edition, the Boat Show is a date not to be missed both for the yachting industry and yachting enthusiasts. In 2015 there were more than 115,000 visitors, 760 exhibitors and more than 1000 boats on show on dry land or on the water with more than 1800 sea trials and 481 B2B encounters.

UCINA CONFINDUSTRIA NAUTICA is the sector Association belonging to Confindustria and since 1967 has been the institutional representative of the entire yachting sector – from boatyards to tourism – and works to develop the yachting sector, promote the culture of the sea and the development of yachting tourism in Italy. With 294 member companies it represents more than 60% of the total turnover of the Italian yachting industry.

UCINA operates at institutional level in relations with political, social and government bodies. At the international level, UCINA is part of the governing organs of the world and European Federation, ICOMIA and EBI, for promoting international yachting.

In line with its aims to promote the yachting sector, UCINA organises, through the company I Saloni Nautici, the Genoa Boat Show, a leading event at the international level and a showcase of Made in Italy. It is part of Confindustria, Federturismo, Federazione del Mare, Comitato Fiere Industria, Fondazione Edison, Symbola and Fondazione Sviluppo Sostenibile, sharing their principles and activities.
